This Far East spicy salad combines the sweet spice of Sriracha and the mild wasabi heat over cool egg noodles and crisp crunchy fresh vegetables – the beef here is optional.
3 ounces Thai Egg Noodles (chow mein)
Approx. 3-4 ounces of a spicy green (in this case arugula)
1 carrot (julienne)
1 radish (thin sliced)
1 red onion (thin sliced)
Fresh bean sprouts (a “small bunch”)
4-5 ounces of beef sirloin cut into stir fry strips
4-6 ounces Litehouse® Wasabi Oriental (3 ounces for marinating beef)
Marinate the beef for about two hours. Prep the salad – cutting the vegetables and setting aside keeping cool. Cook the noodles and set aside with the remainder of the dressing. Cook the beef – and then assemble the parts into a salad using the arugula and noodles as the base and pile the topping as desired. Finish with a pinch of pickled ginger at the top and a drizzle of extra dressing and sriracha and torn cilantro leaves for a fresh kick
